Dryer Vent Measurements
During the full diagnostic inspection performed by Dryer Vent Wizard, technicians will measure the airflow and/or the static pressure (back pressure) within the dryer vent.

Airflow Measurements
Restricted airflow in the dryer causes the dryer to run longer, use more energy, and also increase the collection of lint in the vent line, creating a fire hazard. Reduced airflow can be caused by improper vent connections, lint build up, improper routing of the vent line, wall caps, birds' nests, and more.

Dryer Vent Wizard uses a professional device to measure the temperature and velocity of airflow in the dryer vent. Based on these measurements and readings, as well as the visual inspection, we will offer solutions to increase efficiency of your dryer if needed.

Back Pressure Measurements
If static pressure (back pressure) in the dryer vent is too high, this pressure can reduce the amount of air that will be extracted from the dryer. This process results in decreased efficiency and excessive wear on the clothes dryer.

Dryer Vent Wizard uses a specialized device to measure static pressure in the vent line to properly gauge the efficiency of the dryer unit and accurately provide solutions to dryer vent problems.
